The Region 12 Comprehensive Center provides intensive capacity-building services to state education agencies and stakeholders in Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri.

We help the states, districts, and schools in Region 12 to successfully identify, implement, and sustain evidence-based programs and practices, with the goal of improving outcomes for educators and students alike. Specifically, R12CC is supporting the following projects:

COLORADO

Using facilitated Geographic Information System mapping, analysis, and action planning to address educator shortages and updating Colorado’s Dropout Prevention Framework to support continuous improvement of services tailored to student needs.

KANSAS

Redesigning schools at all levels to help students develop a broad array of academic and non-academic competencies needed to be successful in postsecondary education, the workforce, and in citizenship after graduating from high school.

MISSOURI

Planning and implementing statewide efforts to build the capacity of Missouri’s school leaders and create a common formative assessment system to support teaching and learning.
